Taking content you've posted to your website and sending it to your email list is a great way to maximize the benefits from your work. Whether it's sending a single post, or a series of posts, or even adding a block of text describing the post below, you can get an email out to your subscribers in a matter of minutes.
Let's get started. Begin by selecting New Campaign > Single Campaign.
Choose the mailing list you'd like to email:
Continue by adjusting the Settings information including the Sender and Tracking information and any applied tags:
On the next step, Content, you'll select Curated Content and choose which posts you would like to include in your mailing:
Hit the orange arrow to be taken to your next step where you will choose your template.
Once you choose your template (we chose the 1 column newsletter for this post), you'll be taken to the Visual Mailing Editor for edits and changes.
Your content has automatically been pulled into the template for you. Some ideas for changes you can make here include:
- Shortening the content and adding a button to the post on your site - which we recommend if you have multiple posts in one email).
- Removing all extras including social buttons or preview text to send only the new post.
- Adding a text block before the post to introduce what is in the email. This is great if you're sending a weekly recap of posts from that week or a review of top posts from the previous month.
When your template is all set, hit Next Step: Review for one last look over everything and either schedule your mailing or send it immediately.
And that's how to easily and quickly send a post from your website. As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. You can find all of our great support resources and how to get in touch with us via email, chat or phone on our Support Page.
